Today we had volunteer workers the charity CopperFeel who came in and spoke about the importance of checking your pecks and boobs for irregularities. We were given the chance to design posters that could be used on their social medias to spread awareness, due to this I designed the poster as a square so that it could be used for any social media.
I wanted to design something that was clear and simple to depict, so I used a Wacom tablet to draw a simple piece of line art depicting a simple outline of the female body. I added a white outline around my layers to make them pop on the pastel pink background.
I experimented with the size and location of the words on the poster to make sure that they were clear and didn't obstruct anything else from view.
I really liked this project, as it is a task that would be seen in the industry. I used stroke on each of the layers to make them pop. Looking back at it I think I could have placed my smaller black text in better locations that would have made them more clear as the top set of text is a bit too close to my line art.
