Research introduction:

I was given the option to choose a painting out 7 possibilities, whatever we choose will become our inspiration for the remainder of this project. My first project was designed to take place over 5 weeks, each week providing the chance to develop and experiment with new skills and techniques. I knew that week 5 involved making a film or animation of some sort so I kept this in mind when it came to picking a painting. I ended up choosing the painting, 'Morning Sun' by Edward Hopper (as seen below). I was visually interested in the painting as well as its meaning so I pursued this painting as my inspiration.
